Sometimes… things just happen. I mean, you might get run over by a truck, randomly explode from extreme soda over dosing, or build a robot that happens to want to do illegal things to your school bullies! Funny that I brought that up, because my good friend Rowand (Blaktornado) just made a short film about that very thing…. The robotic thing, this movie doesn’t have killer trucks or over dosing on soda…
The premise of the movie is that this kid, Mitchell White, who has no friends, and is constantly bullied by his peers is having a hard time dealing with school and live in general because of their continuous annoyance. Now where most teens would just go to t
heir parents, start a gang, or just kill the people bothering him. Mitchell decides, with the help of an online ad, that he is going to build a robotic companion, who will serve as his new best friend. Giving the robot the name Dell Rogers, he sets off on a wonderful adventure to the rainbow land! Where fluffy bunnies await them on every corner… Well… Not exactly. As Mitchell and Dell go out for a walk they stumble upon Mitchells’ school mates, which of course went over like a girl expecting to keep her dignity while wearing a white shirt on a rainy day… The teens get into a little scrap, which leads in the robot having a slight malfunction… I won’t go into much more, to keep from spoiling it, but as you can imagine it doesn’t work out to will… That aside I really enjoyed this short film! At 21 mins and 47 secs, it’s an easy watch 
that doesn’t over stay its welcome! Its beautifully shot, and doesn’t leave you feeling like you just got done watching something pointless and stupid! I have to give Rowland and everyone involved in making this film some props! The actors, acted well, and I hope to see much more from that whole team!
